MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL December 8, 1980 <br />Regular Meeting Page Six <br />MOTION: Rowley made a motion, seconded by <br />McCarty to table Resolutions 1200 -1202 <br />(Establishing MSA Streets). <br />Ayes -4 <br />Nays -0 <br />THE MOTION CARRIED. <br />The Council recessed for a break at 9:09 P.M. <br />The Council reconvened at 9:24 P.M. <br />MOTION: Rowley made a motion, seconded by Hodges, <br />to reconsider Ordinance 298 (1980 Long Term <br />Financial Plan). <br />Ayes -4 <br />Nays -0 THE MOTION CARRIED. <br />MOTION: Rowley made a motion, seconded by McCarty, <br />to read the Ordinance 298 minus the MSA project <br />funds for 1982 -83 and to waive the reading. <br />Ayes Rowley, Hodges, Forslund, McCarty <br />Nays -0 <br />THE MOTION CARRIED. <br />Councilmember Rowley noted that she had changed her <br />original vote (to break the tie vote) because she <br />would not be on the Council next year. She also <br />stated she still felt the MSA project funds should be <br />included in the Ordinance. <br />The Council then complimented Clerk- Administrator <br />Pauley on his efforts to provide a long term financial <br />plan in a snort perioa of time. <br />Parks and Recreation Director Anderson reviewed his <br />12 -5 -80 memo to the Council regarding the disposition <br />of the Spring Lake Beach and Lakeside Park. <br />MOTION: Rowley made a motion, seconded by Forslund, <br />to adopt Resolution 1208 (requesting the deed for <br />Lakeside Park be turned over to Ramsey County) and <br />to waive the reading. <br />Ayes -4 <br />Nays -0 <br />THE MOTION CARRIED, <br />13.
