MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL January 12, 1981 <br />Regular Meeting Page Seven <br />Official Rose: <br />1. There will be a meeting of the Metropolitan <br />Council /Metropolitan Airports Commission Committee <br />on January 21, 1981 at 9:30 a.m. and one of the agenda <br />items will be the Anoka County Airport. Official <br />Rose and Administrator Pauley will be attending. <br />2. The Metropolitan Transit Comission has <br />informally informed Mounds View of the plan <br />to install a park /ride facility for 100+ cars <br />near 35W /Highway 10. (The Council asked <br />Official Rose to keep them informed of the <br />Commission's activities on this proposal.) <br />3. Official Rose will be attending a <br />Waste Management Board meeting on February 2nd. <br />4. The Planning Commission will be meeting <br />on January 15/22 to review the housing section <br />of the comprehensive plan update. <br />5. Official Rose distributed copies of <br />New Brighton's response to the Mounds View <br />comprehensive plan update to the Council. <br />Attorney Meyers: <br />1. He will be meeting with the Council at <br />next week's agenda session to discuss: <br />a. The philosophy of the wetlands ordinance <br />b. The impact of new development on the <br />existing water, sewer, etc. facilities in the <br />City and the possible alternatives /options. <br />2. He will not be at the February 23rd Council <br />meeting because he will be out of town. <br />Councilmembers: <br />Hodges: No report. <br />Forslund: <br />1. The Planning Commission needs Council's <br />input on the housing section of the comprehensive <br />plan update. <br />2. The Metro Council will be holding public <br />hearings in late July to get feedback from the public <br />on the selection of the sewage /sludge disposal sites. <br />There will be an informational meeting on January 29, <br />1981, at 7:30 P.M. at Coon Rapids City Hall. <br />12.
