SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING <br />City of Mounds View <br />February 2, 1981 <br />The Special Meeting was called to order <br />at 7:08 p.m. on February 2, 1981, by <br />Mayor McCarty. <br />Members Present Councilmembers Hodges, <br />Forslund, Doty, Blanchard and Mayor <br />McCarty <br />Others Present Clerk- Administrator Pauley <br />Mayor McCarty indicated that the purpose <br />of the Special Meeting was to consider <br />an Ordinance Prohibiting Development of <br />Private Wetlands on an Interim Basis. <br />McCarty and Clerk- Administrator Pauley <br />advised the Council of the statutory <br />authority for such an interim ordinance <br />to allow time for the performance of a <br />Wetlands Management Study which would <br />provide the information necessary for <br />the adoption of a formal wetlands <br />ordinance. <br />MOTION: Councilmember Forslund made a <br />motion, seconded by Doty, to approve the <br />first reading of Ordinance No. 301 (An <br />Ordinance Prohibiting Development of <br />Private Wetlands on an Interim Basis). <br />Clerk- Administrator Pauley then read the <br />ordinance. <br />Ayes- Hodges, Forslund, Doty, Blanchard, <br />McCarty <br />Nays -0 MOTION CARRIED <br />MOTION: Councilmember Hodges made a <br />motion, seconded by Forslund, to adjourn <br />the February 2, 1981, Special City <br />Council meeting. <br />Ayes -5 <br />Nays -0 <br />MOTION CARRIED <br />The meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m. <br />Res•ctfully submi <br />Do d F.
