Special Meeting <br />March 16, 1981 <br />The meeting was called to order at 6 :45 p.m. <br />by Mayor McCarty. <br />Members Present Councilmembers Hodges, <br />Forslund, Blanchard, Doty, and Mayor McCarty. <br />Also Present City Engineer Dan Boxrud and <br />Clerk Administrator Pauley. <br />City Engineer Boxrud reviewed the bids received <br />by the City for the sewer repair on Quincy <br />Street and advised the Council that the Metro- <br />politan Waste Control Commission would pay for <br />the cost of the meter manhole which was bid at <br />$9,000.00. <br />After further discussion regarding the specific <br />items on the bid, Mayor McCarty made a motion, <br />seconded by Hodges, to order the repairs and <br />abandoning of the lift station and award the <br />bid for said work to Barbarossa Sons, Inc. <br />Ayes -5 <br />Nays -0 <br />Clerk- Administrator Pauley presented the Council <br />with the bids received by the City for two <br />police vehicles and the recommendation of him- <br />self and Police Chief Grabowski. <br />Councilmember Doty made a motion, seconded by <br />Forslund, to accept the Midway Ford bid of <br />$13,842.00 for two police vehicles. <br />Ayes -5 <br />Nays -0 <br />Ayes -5 <br />Nays -0 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MOTION CARRIED. <br />MOTION CARRIED. <br />Councilmember Forslund made a motion, seconded 5.
