Motion /Second: Doty /Hodges to approve Resolution No. 1298 and waive the reading. 5 ayes 0 nays Mayor McCarty closed the regular meeting and opened the public hearing for Silver Lake Woods at 7:40 PM. Official Rose reviewed the applicant's request and stated that Staff finds the proposed sub- division, rezoning, planned unit development and conditional use permit to be in conformance with the previous agreement of September 22, 1980 and present municipal codes. He stated that the applicant is before the City in the develop- mental stage of the PUD process. Fred Haas, Vice President of Marvin Anderson Construction Co., who will be doing the residential development, gave the background of his company and their reputation in the Metropolitan area. He stated they would try to leave the area in its natural state, as much as possible, and would be putting in tennis courts, pathways, park, etc., with a sidewalk to go around the perimeter to allow access to the park. Terry Foster, of Kraus Anderson, reviewed the proposed commercial development, stating that the R -4 had been set aside for elderly dousing. He stated they would be putting in a medical building, restaurant, one story retail building, and offs ro b.; g and have proposed two deluxe office buildings Motion Carried 7.
