PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The Mounds View City Council was called <br />to order at 6:15 p.m. on November 5, <br />1981, by Mayor McCarty. <br />Members present: Hodges, Forslund, Doty, <br />Blanchard, and Mayor McCarty. <br />Others presents: Clerk- Administrator <br />Pauley and Parks, Recreation, Forestry <br />Director Anderson. <br />Parks, Recreation, Forestry Director <br />Anderson presented a proposal to the <br />Council for dealing with the warming <br />houses which had been condemned by <br />the Fire Department. He reported that <br />five options had been presented to the <br />Parks and Recreation Commission during <br />the October meeting, with the Commission <br />decision being that the Oakwood Park <br />building would be given to the <br />Frontiersman Club, and the other <br />buildings first being offered to local <br />volunteer organizations, and the <br />remainder being sold. The Parks and <br />Recreation Commission determined that <br />the Oakwood Park, Hillview Park, and <br />Woodcrest Park buildings would be <br />available for disposal. <br />Motion /Second: Doty /Blanchard to accept <br />the Park and Recreation Commission <br />recommendations. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />The City Council reviewed the revisions <br />proposed by Mayor McCarty to the SDM <br />Code, Chapter 25, along with a Staff <br />report on the impacts that these <br />revisions would have on projected <br />revenues from the SDM Charge.
