PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA The Mounds View City Council was called to order at 9:17 p.m. on November 16, 1981 by Mayor McCarty. Members present: McCarty, Forslund, Doty, 2. ROLL CALL Blanchard, Hodges Others present: Clerk- Administrator Pauley Motion /Second: Doty /Blanchard to adopt 3. RESOLUTION NO. 1385 Resolution No. 1385 Commending the Irondale Knights Football Team as North Suburban Football Champions and to waive the reading. 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried Motion /Second: Hodges /Doty to approve a change order to the Silverview Park improve- ments not to exceed $1,700.00 for the sodding of the drainage ditch. 5 ayes 0 nays It was the concensus of the Council that it meet with City Attorney Meyers at 6:00 p.m. on Mcnday, November 23rd in closed session to discuss matters of litigation at his request. Mayor McCarty advised the Council that he had been approached by Ronald O'Connell, 2290 Terrace Drive, regarding the place- ment of his driveway closer than 5 feet to his property line. It was Mayor McCarty's recollection that construction of the drive- way occurred prior to the establishment of a 5 foot setback. Motion /Second: McCarty /Forslund to dis- continue action on the O'Connell case to have the location of the driveway brought into conformance with the Zoning Code as it was constructed prior to the implementa- tion of the requirement and refund the $50 variance application fee paid by O'Connell with the agreement of the City Attorney.
