Continuation of December 28, 1981 December 30, 1981 <br />Regular Meeting Page Two <br />Finance Director Brager presented a General <br />Fund Cash Flow Analysis for the 1980 and <br />1981 actual and projected 1982. A general <br />discussion of the information followed. <br />Clerk Administrator Pauley presented a <br />memorandum and supporting documentation <br />for 1982 Budget reductions which would <br />be necessary to respond to reductions in <br />State Aids. During a general discussion <br />of the City's financial situation as it <br />relates to delayed and /or reduced State <br />Aids it was pointed out that the 1981 <br />General Fund Budget would end in a deficit <br />position if the Legislature did not take <br />appropriate action by the end of 1981. <br />The Council determined that they wished to <br />take action that might be necessary to <br />prevent the 1981 Budget from ending in a <br />deficit position. <br />Motion /Second: McCarty /Doty to adopt <br />Resolution No. 1400 authorizing the <br />transfer from the General Fund unappro- <br />priated fund balance an amount sufficient <br />to balance the 1981 General Fund Budget <br />with the amount of the transfer being <br />repaid at the time the withheld State <br />Aids are received or no later than the <br />end of the 1982 Fiscal Year from such other <br />funds as the Council deems appropriate and <br />to waive the reading. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Mayor McCarty announced that there will be <br />a Wetlands Committee Meeting at the end of <br />the January 4, 1982 Agenda Session. <br />Motion /Second: Forslund /Hodges to adjourn <br />the meeting at 8 :08 p.m. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />ectfully <br />D• :ld F.
