Mounds View City Council April 26, 1982 Regular Meeting Page Two Clerk /Administrator Pauley read Resolution No. 1430. Mayor McCarty closed the regular meeting and opened the first public hearing at 7:43 PM. There were no questions or comments from the floor. Motion /Second: Hodges /Doty to approve the conditional use permit request, to include Resolution No. 49 -82. 5 ayes 0 nays Mayor McCarty closed tr public hearing and reopened the regular me,ting at 7:45 PM. Motion /Second: Forslund /Hodges to approve the request for a carnival license for Series Fun Shows for Mounds View Square, with the hours to be 9 AM 10 PM, Monday thru Friday, 9 AM 12 PM Saturday, and noon to 12 PM on Sunday. 5 ayes 0 nays Mayor McCarty closed the regular meeting and opened the second public hearing at 7:50 PM. There were no questions or comments from the floor. Mayor McCarty closed the public hearing and reopened the regular meeting at 7 :50 PM. Motion /Second: Doty /Forslund to approve the request of Sunrise United Methodist Church for a conditional use permit for a daycare facility to be located at 2520 County Road I, contingent upon complience with Resolution No. 51 -82 from the Planning Commission. 5 ayes 0 nays Councilmember Blanchard expzessed concern that the facility should be required to have a fire alarm system. Attorney Meyers and Official Rose explained that the State Fire Code requires one for over 50 occupants, but the Council could establish their own ordinance if they would like to be more restrictive.
