PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The Mounds View City Council was called to <br />order at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 1983 by <br />Mayor McCarty. <br />Members present: McCarty, Blanchard, Doty, <br />Linke, Hankner <br />Others presents: Clerk /Administrator Pauley <br />and Director of Public Works /Community <br />Development Johnson <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley administered Oaths <br />of Office to Mayor McCarty, and to incoming <br />Councilmembers Hankner and Linke. <br />Motion /Second: McCarty /Doty to recess the <br />Special Meeting for the purpose of taking up <br />items listed on the Agenda Session agenda at <br />7:03 p.m. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />The Special Meeting was called back to order <br />at 9 :13 p.m. by Mayor McCarty. <br />Motion /Second: Doty/Hankner to adopt <br />Resolution No. 1534 appointing Mayor McCarty <br />as Director and Clerk /Administrator Pauley as <br />Alternate to the Suburban Rate Authority for <br />1983 and waive the reading of the resolution, <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion /Second: McCarty /Doty to adopt <br />Resolution No. 1535 appointing the New Brighton <br />Bulletin as the official newspaper, <br />Phyllis Blanchard as Acting Mayor, and <br />the First State Bank of New Brighton as the <br />official depository for 1983 and to waive the <br />reading of the resolution. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />DATE APPROVED: 1/10/83 <br />Special Meeting <br />January 3, 1983 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds View City Hall <br />1.
