Mounds View City Council July 11, 1983 <br />Regular Meeting Page Eight <br />complete the work. <br />Motion /Second: Blanchard /Doty to approve the minor <br />subdivision for Frank Vogt and approve Resolution <br />No. 1628 and waive the reading. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion /Second: McCarty /Linke to authorize Staff to <br />mow the property located at 5511 Quincy Street and <br />submit a bill to the owner for labor and material <br />costs and if the bill is not paid at the time taxes <br />are certified, the amount is to be levied on the <br />property taxes. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Director Johnson had no report. <br />Attorney Meyers had no report. <br />Councilmember Blanchard reported she had received 16. Reports of <br />very firm input from all the Planning Commissioners, Councilmembers <br />that they would like to continue receiving both <br />Council minutes and agendas. <br />Councilmember Doty reported that he had been approached <br />by a resident who has a problem with two cats belonging <br />to a neighbor, in which the cats have the run of the <br />neighborhood and use his children's sandbox. He <br />stated the resident had talked to the Police Department, <br />but there is no ordinance regulating cats. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported that in looking <br />at the Code, the cats could not be described as wild, <br />and that two animals are allowed per household to be <br />kept or raised. He recommended that the resident <br />contact him, and they could have the CSO go over and <br />talk to him. He stated they could also contact the <br />Ramsey County Health Department. <br />Councilmember Blanchard <br />Commission is concerned <br />Chapter 40, as they are <br />enforcement since it is <br />reported the Planning <br />with the delay in adopting <br />having a problem with <br />in limbo. <br />Director Johnson replied that he and Attorney Meyers <br />have been working on coordinating the text and maps, <br />Motion Carried <br />Consideration <br />of Staff Memo <br />Regarding a <br />Public Nuisance <br />at 5511 Quincy <br />Street <br />Motion Carried <br />14.
