The Mounds View City Council was called to order by 1. Call to Order <br />Mayor McCarty at 7:30 PM on October 10, 1983. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Hankner, Blanchard, 2. Roll Call <br />Doty, Linke and Mayor McCarty. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers, Clerk/ <br />Administrator Pauley and Public Works /Community <br />Development Director Johnson. <br />Paul Welistone, Special Assistant to the Governor <br />on the energy policy, presented the Council with <br />booklets detailing the Governor's energy program, <br />and explained the Governor's community energy <br />program, stating that Mounds View is one of 17 <br />communities in the State that has been selected to <br />start the program. Janice Thompson presented <br />computer print out's, showing the data that Mounds <br />View has supplied as far as their current energy <br />use, and the projected future energy use. <br />Mr. Welistone answered questions on the data given, <br />and stated they hope to get representatives of the <br />17 communities together by December to get working <br />on the program. <br />The Council thanked Mr. Welistone and Ms. Thompson <br />for their presentations, and assured them the City <br />would be ready whenever the communities were called <br />together. <br />Motion /Second: Doty /Linke to approve the September <br />26, 1983 minutes as corrected. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Mayor McCarty made a proposed change to the October 3 <br />minutes. <br />Motion /Second: Doty /McCarty to approve the October <br />3 minutes as corrected. <br />2 ayes 3 nays <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />DATE APPROVED: 10/24/83 <br />Regular Meeting <br />October 10, 1983 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />3.
