PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was said. <br />Executive Session <br />May 29, 1984 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />The Mounds View City Council Executive Session Meeting 1. Call to Order <br />was called by Mayor McCarty at 6:00 p.m. on May 29, <br />1984. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Doty, Hankner, <br />Linke, Blanchard and Mayor McCarty. <br />ALSO PRESENT: Clerk- Administrator Pauley, City <br />Attorney Meyers, Consulting Attorney Grant Merritt. <br />Mr. Merritt updated the City Council on the background 4. <br />and present status of his involvement in the City's <br />Maw suit involving proposed improvements to the Anoka <br />County Blaine Airport. Mr. Merritt introduced Dr. Joe <br />Megel, Hydrologist, who reported to the City Council on <br />his initial findings as a result of a broadbrush review <br />of the proposed improvements at the airport site. Mr. <br />Merritt indicated that it was his desire that the City <br />retain Dr. Megel's services should the need for a <br />hydrologist expert testimony be necessary. <br />The Council reviewed Mr. Merritt's recent billings to <br />the City for his services, however, no action was taken <br />at the meeting regarding these billing statements. <br />The meeting adjourned at 7 :30 p.m. in order that the City 5.
