Reports of <br />Park was a great success this year. Councilmembers <br />Councilmember Doty reported he had been unable to <br />attend the Park and Rec Commission meeting last week. <br />He added he was also very impressed with the Festival <br />in the Park. <br />Councilmember Doty asked that the Grant Merritt bill <br />be on the agenda for the next meeting. <br />Councilmember Hankner stated she felt an amendment <br />to the intoxicating liquor ordinance would be very <br />beneficial to the City. <br />Councilmember Hankner reported she had spoken with <br />Jan Quick, and the preliminary figures from the <br />Festival in the Park look like they did make some <br />money. The Commission will be meeting July 10 to <br />review the figures. <br />Councilmember Hanker stated she felt the Festival <br />Commission members should be recognized individually <br />for the hard work they did. <br />Motion /Second: Hankner /Blanchard to have a resolu- <br />tion of appreciation given to each Festivities <br />Commission member. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Councilmember Linke had no report. <br />Mayor McCarty asked when the Povlitzki license <br />issue was last discussed, and asked that the <br />Council have some type of review if it is going <br />to be awhile between discussions. <br />Motion Carried <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported that effective 14. Report of <br />July 1, City Staff implemented a new call -out Clerk/Administra- <br />policy, which eliminates having to carry the for <br />beeper. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported there is a <br />new copy machine at City Hall from Savin, while <br />he has attempted to negotiate an opt -out with chem. <br />
