Mounds View City Council May 13, 1985 <br />Regular Meeting Page Three <br />Quick requested approval of the Council 11. <br />.o request Ramsey County to place stop signs at Red <br />Oak Drive and Ardan Avenue, due to the high number of <br />speed violations that have occured. He reviewed the <br />report provided by the Police Chief, and noted that <br />only one driver who had been ticketed was a Mounds View <br />resident. <br />Motion /Second: Quick /Haake to petition Ramsey County <br />to place °stop signs on Red Oak Drive at the intersection <br />of Arden Avenue to make it a four -way stop. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Director Thatcher reviewed proposed Ordinance No. 387. <br />Motion /Second: Linke /Blanchard to have the first <br />reading of Ordinance No. 387, amending the municipal <br />code of Mounds View by amending Chapter 25 entitled, <br />"Storm Water Management Fund and waive the reading. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reviewed proposed Ordinance <br />o. 392. <br />Motion /Second: Quick /Linke to have the first reading <br />of Ordinance No. 392, an ordinance amending the <br />municipal code of Mounds View by amending Chapter <br />101 entitled "Non- Intoxicating Liquor and waive <br />the reading. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reviewed proposed Ordinance <br />No. 391. <br />Motion /Second: Quick /Linke to have the first reading <br />of Ordinance No. 391, amending the municipal code of <br />Mounds View by amending Chapter 52 entitled "Parks, <br />Playgrounds, Open Space and Recreation Area Rules and <br />Regulations subchapter 52.03 Intoxicating and Non <br />Intoxicating Liquor and waive the reading. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Mrs. Fritz stated she was against the proposed change <br />in the ordinance in making it legal to drink in the <br />'arks.
