Mounds View City Council <br />Regular Meeting <br />Motion /Second: Linke /Quick to accept the resigna- <br />tion of Donna Bowman from the Park and Recreation <br />Commission and adopt Resolution No. 1905 in <br />appreciation. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Mayor Linke stated that with Council approval, he <br />would like to change the liason to the Festivities <br />Commission from Councilmember Hankner to Councilmem- <br />ber Haake. <br />Motion /Second: Linke /Quick to appoint Councilmember <br />Haake as liason to the Festivities Commission. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Mayor Linke reported the Suburban Chamber of <br />Commerce has requested the appointment of someone <br />to be the representative on the local divisional <br />Board of Directors, with a meeting set for June 22 <br />at the Mounds View City Hall, at 7:30 AM. <br />Motion /Second: Linke /Blanchard to appoint Clerk/ <br />Administrator Pauley as the current representative <br />to the Suburban Chamber of Commerce local division <br />Board of Directors. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Mayor Linke reported he would be attending the <br />League of Minnesota Cities conference in St. Paul <br />on June 12, 13 and 14. <br />The Council directed Staff to draft an ordinance <br />for their consideration at the next agenda session <br />to move the starting time of Council meetings to <br />7 PM. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reviewed proposed <br />Resolution No. 1903. <br />Motion /Second: Blanchard /Haake to adopt Reso- <br />lution No. 1903, amending the 1985 general fund <br />budget, and waive the reading. <br />4 ayes <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported he would also <br />be at the League of Cities conference with Mayor <br />Linke, as well as attending a seminar on the Fair <br />Labor Standards Act on June llth. <br />June 10, 1985 <br />Page Eight <br />Motion Carried <br />Motion Carried <br />Motion Carried <br />23.
