PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA The Mounds View City Council was called 1. Call to order by Mayor Linke at 7 :00 PM on September 9, 1985. The Pledge of Allegiance was said. MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Hankner, 3. Blanchard, Haake, and Mayor Linke. ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers, Clerk Administrator Pauley and Public Works /Community Development Director Thatcher. Motion /Second: Hankner /Quick to approve the August 26, 1985 minutes as corrected. 5 ayes 0 nays Duane McCarty, 8060 Long Lake Road, asked the Council to remove Ordinance No. 391 and 392 from the table and deny them at this time. He expressed displeasure that they had been discussed at a present agenda session, when most residents were not present. Mr. McCarty stated that when items are tables they should of be discussed at an agenda session. Residents Requests and Comments from the Floor Councilmember Hankner explained that she had been the one who made the motion to table actin on the ordinances, as she did not feel they were acceptable as written, and that tabling action means the Council is working on it. She added that she did not discuss the ordinances at the last agenda session, and she still feels they need a good deal of work done on them. Councilmember Haake pointed out the agenda sessions are public meetings. She added the ordinances are not ready to be brought from the table at this time, and they will notify the residents when they will be brought before the Council.
