PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The Mounds View City Council was called 1. Call to order <br />by Mayor Linke at 7 :00 PM on September 9, <br />1985. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was said. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Hankner, 3. <br />Blanchard, Haake, and Mayor Linke. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers, <br />Clerk Administrator Pauley and Public <br />Works /Community Development Director <br />Thatcher. <br />Motion /Second: Hankner /Quick to approve <br />the August 26, 1985 minutes as corrected. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Duane McCarty, 8060 Long Lake Road, <br />asked the Council to remove Ordinance <br />No. 391 and 392 from the table and deny <br />them at this time. He expressed displeasure <br />that they had been discussed at a present <br />agenda session, when most residents were <br />not present. <br />Mr. McCarty stated that when items are <br />tables they should of be discussed at an <br />agenda session. <br />DATE APPROVED: 9/23/85 <br />Regular Meeting <br />September 9, 1985 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />2. Residents <br />Requests and <br />Comments from <br />the Floor <br />Councilmember Hankner explained that she had been the <br />one who made the motion to table actin on the ordinances, <br />as she did not feel they were acceptable as written, and <br />that tabling action means the Council is working on it. <br />She added that she did not discuss the ordinances at the <br />last agenda session, and she still feels they need a good <br />deal of work done on them. <br />Councilmember Haake pointed out the agenda sessions are <br />public meetings. She added the ordinances are not ready <br />to be brought from the table at this time, and they will <br />notify the residents when they will be brought before the <br />Council. <br />Mayor Linke pointe.i out the Benda session is open to <br />the public, and al 1 items on the :ages aie given to <br />the press for publication. <br />
