Mounds View City Council Regular Meeting +irector Thatcher reported Horse and Rider had just 11. Report of paid their bill in full for the City repair of their Public water main, which was done last year. CommunityDvlpt. Director Attorney Meyers had no report. Councilmember Blanchard had no report. Councilmember Quick had no report. Councilmember Haake reported she had riden with the Police Department on January 11 and found it very interesting. Councilmember Hankner had no report. Mayor Linke reported he had attended the appreciation night on January 8 at the Kraus /Harting VFW, where he accepted a flag and plaque on behalf of the Police Department. ayor Linke reported he had been contacted by =Jerry Skelly, who informed him that Group W would like to begin broadcasting the Council meetings live on February 17. Clerk /Administrator Pauley reviewed information found in the Action Alert, regarding proposed budget cuts and their affect on cities. Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported that the Ramsey County League of Local Governments will be meeting on January 15 at 7 PM at the Little Canada City Hall, where they will have a forum of three speakers, who will discuss the Ramsey County Municipal Court consolidation. Attorney Meyers suggested that whoever attends should recommend a provision be included that each city could set up its own traffic violations bureau, and that each city should be able to keep the majority of the receipts. Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported he had received a call from Ed Sharkey, who had previously een licensed by the City to conduct professional ,,restling matches at the Bel Rae. He stated Mr. Sharkey would like to hold another one on January 22 and has asked that the City reduce the insurance requirement level and the license January 13, 1986 Page Three 12.
