too <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />MARCH 10, 1986 <br />The Consent Agenda is a technique designed to- expedite <br />handling of routine and miscellaneous official business of <br />the City Council. The entire agenda maybe adopted by the <br />Council in one motion. The motion for adoption is -non- <br />debatable and must receive unanimous approval. By request <br />of any individual Councilmember, an item can be removed from <br />the Consent Agenda and placed upon the Regular Agenda for <br />debate. <br />ITEM A. Approve Resolutions No. 1984 Denying Applica- <br />tion of the U. S. Hockey Hall of Fame for a <br />Charitable Gambling License at Muldoons <br />ITEM B. Reject Original Bids for Outdoor Warning Sirens <br />and Accept the Proposal from Corrigan Electric <br />dated February 20, 1986 to Relocate the City's <br />Current Sirens and Furnish and Install a <br />Federal Signal Thunderheam Siren at a Cost of <br />$12,600.00. Further, Authorize Service of <br />Existing Sirens at a Cost not to Exceed <br />$2,400.00 <br />ITEM C. Approve Contract with Precision Business <br />Systems, Inc. for Maintenance of City Dictation <br />Equipment at a Cost of $480 Per Year Effective <br />March 2, 1986 <br />ITEM D. Approve Hiring of Shamim Sabur as Accounting <br />Clerk at a Wage Rate of $7.00 /hour with Salary <br />Consideration to be Given After Successful <br />Completion of a Six Month Probationary Period <br />Effective March 10, 1986 <br />ITEM E. Authorize Mayor and Clerk Administrator to <br />Enter into a Joint Powers Agreement with the <br />City of New Brighton for a Joint Aquatic <br />Director Position Contingent Upon Approval by <br />the City of New Brighton <br />ITEM F. Approve Resolution No. 1983 Regarding Municipal <br />State Aid Streets <br />ITEM G. Authorize Purchase of Chlorine Equipment from <br />Layne Minnesota per Quotation dated <br />February 11, 1986 in the Amount of $1,557.00 <br />with Funds Coming from the Water System Capital <br />Improvement Account <br />ITEM H.
