Mounds View City Council Regular Meeting 'ouncilmember Hankner reported there will be a aeeting on June 10th at 7 PM regarding the Ardan Avenue drainage district. The meeting will be an informational one, at Abiding, Saviour Lutheran Church. Councilmember:Hankner reported the Council /Staff picnic has been set for July 10th. Mayor Linke reported he had attended the Park and Rec meeting on May 22. He reported he had also represented the City at a retirement gathering for three school officials, which was held at Irondale High School. Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported that Don's 17. Report of Amusement Enterprises, Inc. has applied to Clerk /Administr conduct a carnival at Mounds View Square. They tor are setting up now, to allow for the necessary inspections, and they have provided the appropriate license fees and evidence of insurance. He added that they have conducted carnivals in the City before, and they are aware of the proper procedures to follow in applying for a license. He stated they would like their license to run from May 28 ,through June 1. Motion /Second: Blanchard /Quick to approve the license for Don's Amusement Enterprises, Inc. for May 28 through June 1, 1986. 5 ayes 0 nays Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported the grant proposal for the "Arts in the Park" program must be submitted by May 30. Motion /Second: Haake /Blanchard to approve the submittal of the "Arts in the Park" grant proposal. 5 ayes 0 nays Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported the new civil defense siren is in and they will begin installing it this week. Once it is fully operational, the existing two sirens will be taken down and maintenance done, and they will be reinstalled.
