Mounds View City Council Regular Meeting ayor Linke also extended thanks to the Little Canada re Department, Vadnais Heights Fire Department, M aine Police Department, Spring Lake Park Police Department, and Salvation Army, who were not able to have representatives present, and stated their resolutions of appreciation would be sent to them. Motion /Second: Blanchard /Quick to send a letter of commendation to Senator Novak, Representative Knuth, Representative Vento, Senator Durenburger and Commissioner McCarty, thanking them for their assis- tance. 5 ayes 0 nays Motion /Second: Quick /Hankner to approve the July 28, 1986 minutes as presented. 5 ayes 0 nays Mayor Linke explained that Resolution No. 2028 had been rescinded on July 28, 1986, and the Council at that time had asked Staff and the City Attorney to prepare a resolution calling for the complete •emoval of the Williams Pipeline from the City, and read proposed Resolution No. 2061. Motion /Second: Ilankner /Blanchard to approve Resolution No. 2._., requesting the removal of the Williams Pipeline from the City of Mounds View 5 ayes 0 nays Clerk /Administrator Pauley stated he had received a call from a representative of the development firm, and they have requested the public hearing be cancelled at this time, due to continuing negotia- tions on the property, and they would like to reschedule it later on, at their request. There were no residents requests or comments from the floor. Motion /Second: Haake /Hankner to approve the consent Benda, as presented, and waive the reading of the •solutions. 5 ayes 0 nays August 11, Page Two Motion Carried 6.
