Mounds View City Council <br />Regular Meeting <br />ayor Linke also extended thanks to the Little Canada <br />re Department, Vadnais Heights Fire Department, <br />M aine Police Department, Spring Lake Park Police <br />Department, and Salvation Army, who were not able to <br />have representatives present, and stated their <br />resolutions of appreciation would be sent to them. <br />Motion /Second: Blanchard /Quick to send a letter of <br />commendation to Senator Novak, Representative Knuth, <br />Representative Vento, Senator Durenburger and <br />Commissioner McCarty, thanking them for their assis- <br />tance. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion /Second: Quick /Hankner to approve the July 28, <br />1986 minutes as presented. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Mayor Linke explained that Resolution No. 2028 had <br />been rescinded on July 28, 1986, and the Council at <br />that time had asked Staff and the City Attorney to <br />prepare a resolution calling for the complete <br />•emoval of the Williams Pipeline from the City, and <br />read proposed Resolution No. 2061. <br />Motion /Second: Ilankner /Blanchard to approve <br />Resolution No. 2._., requesting the removal of the <br />Williams Pipeline from the City of Mounds View <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley stated he had received a <br />call from a representative of the development firm, <br />and they have requested the public hearing be <br />cancelled at this time, due to continuing negotia- <br />tions on the property, and they would like to <br />reschedule it later on, at their request. <br />There were no residents requests or comments from <br />the floor. <br />Motion /Second: Haake /Hankner to approve the consent <br />Benda, as presented, and waive the reading of the <br />•solutions. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />August 11, <br />Page Two <br />Motion Carried <br />6.
