Mounds View City Council August 11, 1986 Regular Meeting Page Four ouncilmember Blanchard reported the Fair Share program as started and is working very well so far. They have 5 people signed up, and she is very enthusiastic about the program. Park Director Anderson explained that the participants have been working outside so far, and they will have to plan differently for winter. He added the program has worked well so far. Councilmember Quick had no report. Councilmember Haake reported she had attended the Councilmember Ramsey County Health Services Advisory Committee Haake meeting, where they passed a resolution in support of Mounds View's resolution regarding the Williams Pipeline and suggesting a review of all pipeline in Ramsey County. Mayor Linke reported he and Councilmember Blanchard had attended the fire station visit on August 6, and found it very informative. Mayor Linke reported he has been appointed to the Ramsey County Court Consolidation Committee. Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported he had received 15. Report of a call on August 8 from the Minnesota International Clerk /Administra- Center, stating they would like to have representa- tor tives from seven different countries visit Mounds View and have informal discussions with the City officials. He reported they would be coming on August 13, and would have a bus tour to Long Lake Road, see a video tape of the pipeline disaster, and visit with officials. Mr. Frits asked the Council to look again at Resolution No. 2061, which they had passed earlier in the evening, and he pointed out an error in wording in the third paragraph, and he cautioned Staff and Council to be very sure of their facts in this case, as an error could cause serious problems later in court.
