Mounds View City Council March 23, 1987 <br />Regular Meeting Page Three <br />Ms. Chestic stated she feels the Council approves <br />buildings and then does not follow through to make sure <br />the law is carried out. She stated she has had problems <br />in the neighborhood in the past. <br />Mayor Linke asked if Ms. Chestic had filed a complaint <br />when she experienced problems before. <br />Ms. Chestic replied she had spoken to the police about <br />it, and they visited the property, but the only way <br />anything was done was when she spoke directly to the <br />landlord. <br />Mayor Linke closed the public hearing and reopened <br />the regular meeting at 7:21 PM. <br />Commissioner McCarty state'i he had received the final <br />draft of the Environmental Impact Statement for the <br />extension of Highway 10, and he would like the Council <br />to join forces with other groups. He stated the <br />final review period ends on April 25, and he would like <br />to see the project moved back to its original time slot <br />in 1987, rather than 1988, and he asked the Council to <br />send a resolution, requesting the project be moved forward <br />to its original time slot of 1987. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley read the items on the 9. Approval of <br />proposed consent agenda. Consent Agenda <br />Motion /Second: Blanchard /Wuori to approve the consent <br />agenda, as presented, and waive the reading of the <br />resolutions. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion /Second: Quick /Wuori to approve the first <br />reading of Ordinance No. 418, amending the Municipal <br />Code of Mounds View by amending Chapter 41 entitled <br />"Specific Rezonings" and waive the reading. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Mayor Linke stated he had a hard time with this <br />particular property, but had no choice but to vote <br />for it as it is in conformance with the Comp Plan. <br />8.
