Mounds View City Council June 22, 1987 <br />Regular Meeting Page Eight <br />Councilmember Quick noted the Council has issued <br />conditional use permits several times for oversize <br />buildings and have not had problems in the past. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley stated they can record <br />the conditional use permit on the title. <br />Motion /Second: Blanchard /Quick to approve the first <br />reading of Ordinance No. 419, vacating a 66 foot road <br />right -of -way, Block 2, Jim Lund Second Addition, and <br />waive the reading. <br />4 ayes <br />0 nays Motion Carried <br />Motion /Second: Blanchard /Quick to remove this item <br />from the table. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Councilmember Quick stated he still has problems <br />with this resolution and would like additional time <br />to work on it. <br />Motion /Second: Quick /Wuori to table this item for <br />three weeks, to July 13, 1987. <br />3 ayes 1 nay <br />Mayor Linke voted against the motion. <br />Jim Philippi, of North Star Engineering, asked if <br />there is any additional information the Council needs <br />to make a decision, as he had thought they had provided <br />everything that had been asked for. <br />Councilmember Quick stated he needs additional time <br />to review the proposal and go over it with Staff. <br />Mr. Coffey stated he would like to applaud Council <br />members Quick and Blanchard for cabling this item <br />both this time and previously, as he does not feel <br />another gas station is needed along Highway 10 in <br />Mounds View. He stated he fears the traffic will <br />increase dramatically, and he is also concerned that <br />speed limits are not being enforced presently on <br />Highway 10. <br />15.
