111Motion/Second: Hankner Wuori to approve Resolution No. 2228, approving a used auto sales license to Kevin Mullins, dba Mid American Auto, and waive the reading. Mounds View City Council Regular Meeting 5 ayes 0 nays Finance Director Brager reported proposed Ordinance No. 427 had been prepared pursuant to Council direction, and reviewed the purpose of the ordinance. He added it would require a 4/5 vote to pass. Motion /Second: Blanchard /Hankner to approve the first reading of Ordinance No. 427, repealing Chapter 20, Public Improvement Revolving Fund, and waive the reading. 5 ayes 0 nays Attorney Meyers had no report. Councilmember Blanchard had no report. Councilmember Wuori had no report. Councilmember Quick had no report. Councilmember Hankner had no report. Mayor Linke reported the Park and Rec department had hosted the State womens slow pitch softball tournament the past weekend and it had gone very well, thanks to the Park and Rec department and Public Works department. It was the concensus of the Council to continue discussion Mr. Povlitzki's request for a liquor license at the September 8 agenda session. Clerk /Administrator Pauley reviewed the bids received recently for the Public Works garage addition. Mayor Linke pointed out that all the savings would be based on the Public Works crew doing the specified work and he asked if Staff has the time to do that amount of work.
