Clerk /Administrator Pauley explained that any filling <br />with dirt would create a problem for the City at this <br />time, due to run -off in the area, and he added they <br />are working on it. <br />0 Mayor Linke closed the public hearing and reopened <br />the regular meeting at 7:12 PM. <br />Mounds View City Council March 28, 1988 <br />Regular Meeting Page Two <br />Mayor Linke closed the regular meeting and opened the <br />public hearing at 7:07 PM. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley explained Robert Waste has <br />requested approval of the City to transfer the on -sale <br />and Sunday intoxicating liquor license from Richard <br />Povlitzki, dba POV's to himself. He added the Council <br />was presented with a report from Police Chief Ramacher, <br />and a letter from Attorney Karney with recommendations, <br />and he reviewed those recommendations. <br />Mayor Linke stated he had spoken with a resident, Mr. <br />Carlstrom, who lives across the street from POV's, <br />and his only concern was that the business continue to <br />be run the way it presently was, stating he has no <br />problems with it's present operation. <br />Councilmember Quick stated he would like to see sodding <br />a condition, rather than seeding, due to possible <br />erosion problems. <br />Motion /Second: Hankner /Quick to transfer the on -sale <br />and Sunday intoxicating liquor license from Richard <br />Povlitzki, dba POV's to Robert Waste, contingent upon <br />all the criteria Attorney Karney listed in his March <br />15, 1988 letter to Mr. Waste, and that listed in the <br />March 23, 1988 memo from the Clerk /Administrator, and <br />contingent upon receipt and review by the Attorney by <br />April 1, 1988, with the deletion of the seeding require- <br />ment. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion /Second: Quick Hankner to remove this item <br />from the table. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />7.
