The Pledge of Allegiance was said. <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The Mounds View City Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Linke at 7:00 PM on Monday, April 11, 1988. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Blanchard, Hankner, <br />Wuori, Quick and Mayor Linke. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers, Clerk /Administrator <br />Pauley and City Planner Herman. <br />Motion /Second: Hankner /Wuori to approve the March 28, <br />1988 minutes as presented. <br />ayes 0 nays <br />Councilmember Blanchard explained that in January, Mayor <br />Linke had put together a committee to work on the City's <br />30th anniversary, and the children of the community <br />were asked to design a button to commemorate: this <br />occasion, and the winner selected was Kelly Jacobs, who <br />is a 4th grade student at Pinewood Elementary. <br />Councilmember Blanchard presented Miss Jacobs with a <br />savings bond, and thanked he,- for the design she had <br />made. <br />Councilmember Blanchard explained they are considering <br />having a City dance in early July at the Bel Rae Ballroom, <br />and all button wearers will get in free.
