Page 7 <br />June 10, 1996 <br />Mounds View City Council <br />Mr. Whiting stated that he also had spoken with Mr. Voss and a meeting will be arranged with several <br />representatives and staff, after which perhaps a presentation can be made to the counciUpublic. <br />Trude: Ms. Trude stated she attended a Transportation Advisory Board meeting and the highway 610 <br />funding is in the Transportation Improvement Plan and it will go to a public hearing next week. <br />Ms. Trude also noted that the council had talked about raising the election judge's wages as well as getting <br />some new booths, and she would like to see this taken care of soon. <br />Report of Mayor Linke: Mr. Linke stated he had met with other mayors, managers, school presidents and <br />supervisors to go over the 35W corridor. <br />Mayor Linke also informed the council that Michelle Severson had resigned from her position with the <br />City of Mounds View. . <br />Report of Administrator: Mr. Whiting noted that the Metropolitan Council is having a series of meetings <br />on and he would encourage those who can attend to do so. <br />Report of Staff: Mr. Ulrich stated the Public Works Department has started its summer maintenance on <br />roads. Some of the roadways will be slurry sealed in July and a tentative list of affected roadways will be <br />• available in the next city newsletter. <br />Mayor Linke noted that the next Council Meeting will be held on June 24, 1996.
