Ms. Trude noted that the council members each received a copy of the study and reviewed it at the last work session. A copy is available for review at City Hall if any resident would like to do so. VOTE: 2 ayes ]nay (Hankner) MOTION FAILS FOR LACK OF THREE (3) AFFII2MATIVE VOTES. B. Consideration of Resolution No. 4907, Setting Sewer Rates Effective January 1, 1996. Ms. Tatarek again explained that as per the accountants' analysis of the sewer rates, they are recommending that the rates be increased to $44.50 to cover the operation of the fund and to protect the fund balance for any • maintenance needs or emergencies. MOTION/SECOND: Trude/Blanchard to approve Resolution No. 4907, Adjusting the sewer rates for 1996 to $44.50 per Residential Equivalent Connection (REC), effective January 1, 1996. Ms. Trude stated the sewer rate analysis was also reviewed by the council members at their last work session and it was the unanimous agreement of the council that they should adopt the new sewer rates. It merely adopts a cash flow policy which allows the city to operate in the black. VOTE: 2 ayes 1 nay (Hankner) MOTION FAILS FOR LACK OF THREE (3) AFFIRMATIVE VOTES. C. Consideration of Resolution No. 4909, Regarding Organizational and Management Structure at the Bridges Golf Course. MOTION/SECOND: TrudeBlanchard to table this item.
