Page 13 <br />August 21, 1995 <br />Mayor Linke stated that the City Council has considered assessing a penalty on top of the <br />water bill (i.e. $50.00/quarter). <br />Craig Weinmann stated that residents agree that Option #1 or Option #2 for the City <br />Council is no option for residents. He feels it is ridiculous and opposes both of these <br />options. <br />Mayor Linke closed the informational meeting at 9:40 p.m. <br />Mayor Linke explained that the 1995 Long Term Financial Plan was introduced at the <br />July 17, 1995 council meeting. The updated plan is easier to read to the public. He noted <br />this is a five year plan, Year I to be 1996. The other four years list objectives. <br />Council member Trude noted that the plan calls for no new staff and no significant capital <br />purchases. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Quiclc/Trude to adopt Ordinance No. 566, 1995 Long Term <br />Financial Plan. <br />Mayor Linke -yes <br />Council member Blanchard -yes <br />Council member Trude -yes <br />Council member Hankner -yes <br />Council member Quick -yes <br />VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />B. Consideration of Slurry Seal Bid: <br />Mike Ulrich stated the staff advertised for the Slurry Seating of selected streets for this <br />years Pavement Management Program. They only received one response, which was from <br />the contractor that was awarded the bid last year, Struck and Irwin Paving. The total bid <br />was for $33,136.95 plus 15% to be allowed for change orders. These improvements will <br />. be funded from the Street Management Program. <br />
