Mounds View City Council Page 4 <br />Regular Meeting January 9, 1995 <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS• <br />There were no Public Hearings scheduled for this meeting. <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS: <br />A. Consideration of Adootion of Resolution No. 4702 Filling of <br />Vacant Part-Time Custodial Position <br />Tim Cruikshank, Assistant to City Administrator, explained <br />that the City's part-time custodian recently resigned, leaving <br />the City without a custodian. The vacant position had been <br />advertised in the newspaper and after discussing the <br />qualifications of the applicants with the City Administrator, <br />it was the recommendation that Steve Andert be hired for the <br />part-time custodian position. References have been checked <br />and were satisfactory. <br />Cruikshank said there was a brief reception scheduled for <br />Wednesday afternoon to introduce Mr. Andert to all staff <br />members. The starting wage would be $7.50 per hour with no <br />• benefits for this part-time position. <br />MOTION/SECOND. Consideration of Resolution No. 4698 Reappointing Commission <br />and Task Force Members for Three-Year Terms Expiring <br />December 31, 1997 <br />Mayor Linke read Resolution No. 4698 citing the reappointments <br />of the following Commissions: <br />.Planning Commission <br />Henry Ruggles <br />Jerry Peterson <br />Parks Recreation and Forestry Commission <br />Pamela Starr <br />E. Scott Dentz <br />Police Civil Service Commission <br />Ray Long <br />Councilmember Hankner said she was not familiar with the <br />individual appointed to Police Civil Service Commission and <br />felt advertising should be conducted to afford the opportunity <br />
