Regort of Councilmembers:
Councilmember Quick: No report.
Councilmember Blanchard: No report.
Councilmember Hankner reported that she was glad to be
back working with this Council and was looking forward to
productive times in the future.
. Councilmember Trude welcomed Councilmember Hankner.
She asked Samantha Orduno for clarification on the status
of the airport meetings.
Samantha Orduno explained that all meetings with the
Metropolitan Airports Commission have been postponed at
this time. Two residents have requested information from
M.A.C. to find out the formula used to determine that the
airport was going to have 195,000 activities per year.
Orduno said that Reinhold Markfelt has wanted that
information for a long time and was promised that
information by M.A.C. but the City has not been able to
schedule meetings with M.A.C. representatives so far to
find out what formula was used.
Trude noted that Metropolitan Airports Commission
representatives who attended a previous Council Meeting,
had suggested a public hearing to be held in January.
Orduno explained that the public hearing on the Master
Plan has been postponed because an environmental impact
study will be conducted prior to that meeting.
Councilmember Hankner said that she will be contacting
David Dombrowski of the Metropolitan Airports Commission
in the near future to bring herself current with airport
• issues.
