Consideration of Stop Siqn Installation Staff ReQort No 95- <br />34 1417C <br />35 <br />36 Mike Ulrich, Director of Public Works, stated that a request <br />37 for a stop sign installation at the intersection of Ardan <br />38 Avenue and Fairchild Avenue was received by the City. <br />39 <br />40 Rod Kirtz, 2808 Ardan Avenue, summarized that the bike path <br />41 and walkway path signs were ignored and that people do not <br />42 adhere to them. Mr. Kirtz indicated that he felt there was a <br />43 need for a stop sign at this location due to the speed of the <br />44 vehicles. <br />45 <br />46 Charlynn Robertson, 2757 Ardan Avenue, addressed the Council <br />47 emphasizing the need to look at the "big" picture in <br />relationship to the issue. Robertson spoke about the safety <br />of the elderly and disabled residents in the direct area with <br />50 regard to teen drivers speeding at this location. Robertson <br />
