There have been instances in the past where the
hydrants were damaged and the $100 deposit, which was
presently required, was not adequate to cover repairs to the
hydrants.
Mr. Ulrich felt that a larger deposit would encourage
contractors to be more careful with the hydrants. If there
was no damage to the hydrant, the contractor would receive the
entire deposit back.
MOTION~SECOND: Blanchard/Hankner Adopt Resolution No. 4780
Increasing Water Hydrant Deposit to $300
VOTE: 5 aye=_s 0 nays Motion Carried
Consideration of Resolution No. 4784 Establishing Licensing
Fee for Cigarettes and Tobacco Products of $150 per Year
MOTION_f SECOND: Trude/Quick to Adopt Resolution No. 4784
Establishing Licensing Fee for Cigarettes and Tobacco Products
of $150 per Ye;~r
.
