(New) Sewer/Water -Expires 6/30/96 -Inland .Utility Construction (New) Mayor Linke asked if there were any council members who would like any items removed from the Consent Agenda. Council member Trade asked that Item (c) be removed from the Consent Agenda. MOTION/SECOND: TrudelQuick to approve approval of the Consent Agenda with the removal of Item (c). VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried Discussion on Item (C) Adopting Resolution 4834 Approving Premise Permits for the Lion's Club to Permit Charitable Gambling at the Mermaid and Robert's Off 10 in the City of Mounds View. Ms. Trade stated she often has people in the community asking her where the pull tab proceeds are spent. She noted that a representative of the Lion's Club was present and asked if he would give the public a general overview of what the funds are used for. Bob Wharton, 7462 Spring Lake Road, was present of the Lion's Club to give information on where the past funds have been disbursed. He distributed a copy of the charitable donations from November 1993 to October 1995, noting that only about 30 % of the total amount that was given out went towards Lion's projects. The remainder was disbursed to projects within the local community. He proceeded to outline the Lion's Projects to which funds were designated. MOTION/SECOND: Trade/Blanchard to approve Item C.
