(New) <br />Sewer/Water -Expires 6/30/96 -Inland .Utility Construction (New) <br />Mayor Linke asked if there were any council members who would like any items removed from the <br />Consent Agenda. <br />Council member Trade asked that Item (c) be removed from the Consent Agenda. <br />MOTION/SECOND: TrudelQuick to approve approval of the Consent Agenda with the removal of <br />Item (c). <br />VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />Discussion on Item (C) Adopting Resolution 4834 Approving Premise Permits for the Lion's Club to <br />Permit Charitable Gambling at the Mermaid and Robert's Off 10 in the City of Mounds View. <br />Ms. Trade stated she often has people in the community asking her where the pull tab proceeds are <br />spent. She noted that a representative of the Lion's Club was present and asked if he would give the <br />public a general overview of what the funds are used for. <br />Bob Wharton, 7462 Spring Lake Road, was present of the Lion's Club to give information on where <br />the past funds have been disbursed. He distributed a copy of the charitable donations from November <br />1993 to October 1995, noting that only about 30 % of the total amount that was given out went towards <br />Lion's projects. The remainder was disbursed to projects within the local community.
