RESOLUTION 7748 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> APPROVING PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON JACKSON DRIVE BETWEEN <br /> COUNTY ROAD H2 AND COUNTY ROAD I <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution 7176 on October 22, 2007 <br /> establishing the Street and Utility Improvement Program (Program), which includes nine <br /> Street and Utility Improvement Projects identified as Areas A through I; and <br /> WHEREAS, Jackson Drive is a non standard street in Area D of the Program <br /> due to it's Municipal State Aid status; and <br /> WHEREAS, City staff and the Street and Utilities Committee recommended that <br /> Jackson Drive between County Road H2 and Groberg Street be reconstructed to 32- <br /> feet wide, and provide parallel parking on the east side south of Bronson Drive and on <br /> the west side north of Bronson Drive, which the City Council approved by adopting <br /> Resolution 7693 on October 25, 2010; and <br /> WHEREAS, to be eligible for State Aid funding, Jackson Drive must be signed <br /> with "No Parking" or equivalent traffic signs on the sides of the road that do not include <br /> the eight -foot parallel parking bays. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br /> Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> 1. Jackson Drive will be signed with "No Parking" or equivalent traffic signs on the west <br /> side (southbound traffic) between County Road H2 and Bronson Drive. <br /> 2.
