RESOLUTION 7766 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A SET OF WHEEL LOADER TIRES <br /> FROM GCR TIRE CENTER <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View purchased a Case 621 D wheel loader in <br /> 2003 for various Public Works functions; and <br /> WHEREAS, the tires on the wheel loader are original and showing some signs of <br /> wear and tear, and the "off road" style is not conducive to snow removal operations, <br /> requiring the use of chains which can damage the street and other pavements; and <br /> WHEREAS, a quote for $9,636.60 plus tax was received off the State of <br /> Minnesota Cooperative Purchasing Venture from GCR Tire Center of Lakeville, <br /> Minnesota for a set of four tires, installation /mounting, on -site, new o- rings, service calls, <br /> and filling the tires with calcium chloride for better performance. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br /> View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> 1. The purchase of a set of four new tires for the 2003 Case 621 D wheel loader <br /> from GCR Tire Center in Lakeville, Minnesota for $9,636.60 plus tax is hereby <br /> approved. <br /> 2. Payment for the above said purchase will be funded equally by the Capital <br /> Equipment accounts of the Water Infrastructure and Maintenance Fund (700- <br /> 4823 -7030) and Stormwater Street Cleaning Fund (245- 4417 7030). <br /> Adopted this 28 day of March, 2011. <br /> j oe 4 F 1_ah`6`, <br /> ATTEST: <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> (SEAL) <br />
