RESOLUTION 7764 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A USED TRAILER MOUNTED CRACK FILLING <br /> MACHINE FROM THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> WHEREAS, routine maintenance, including crack sealing, is a best management <br /> practice for preserving pavements to provide a long service life between reconstruction; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View does not own a crack filling machine to <br /> perform routine maintenance for crack sealing operations; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of New Brighton has a used 1995 trailer- mounted crack filling <br /> machine for sale in the amount of $4,275 (which includes tax); and <br /> WHEREAS, Public Works Staff is familiar with New Brighton's 1995 crack filling <br /> machine and recommends its purchase. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br /> View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> 1. The purchase of a used 1995 Bearcat "Kracker" crack filling machine from the <br /> City of New Brighton for $4,275 is hereby approved. <br /> 2.
