8 <br />June 17, 1958 <br />A special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Mounds View <br />was held June 17, 1958 at the Mounds View Village Hall, 1450 West Highway 96. <br />The following members were present: <br />Mayor: James W. Gibson <br />Clerk: Martha Irvine <br />Deputy Clerk: Mary Jean Milbrandt <br />Trustees: John L. Sullivan <br />Ingram C. Rustad <br />Legal Counsel: Richard Meyers <br />and the following member was absent: Reuben G. Achterkirch. <br />The meeting was opened at 8:03 P.M. by Mayor, James W. Gibson. <br />Herman Bentrup, 8158 Red Oak Drive appeared regarding the home located <br />at that address. Mr. Bentrup was given information by the Council and the <br />Building Inspector as to what could be done to bring this home up to the <br />building code. <br />Donald Bona, Dog Catcher, offered several suggestions to be considered when <br />revising the dog ordinance: <br />The Clerk and the Mayor gave brief reports on the League of Minnesota <br />Municipalities Convention. <br />The Council's recommendation for roads to be designated as State Aid <br />Roads are as follows: <br />Hillview from Highway 8 to Redoak Drive. <br />Quincy from County Rd. H2 to County Road I. <br />Knollwood from County Road H to County Road H2. <br />Redoak from County Road J to Highway 10. <br />Edgewood Drive from County Road H2 to Woodale Drive. <br />Office hours for the Clerk's office beginning July 1, 1958 will be 8:30 <br />A.M. to 12:30 P.M. Monday through Friday and 6 :30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. Tuesdays. <br />Motion by Sullivan, seconded by Rustad to set Treasurer's salary at <br />$l5.00 per month. The following voted aye -- Gibson, Irvine, Rustad and Sullivan. <br />Motion carried. <br />Motion by Rustad, seconded. by Sullivan to purchase Hermes Typewriter for <br />Clerk's Office.
