June 24, 1958 <br />A special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Mounds View was <br />held June 24, 1958 at the Mounds View Village Hall, 1450 W. Highway 96. <br />The following members were present: <br />Mayor: James W. Gibson <br />Deputy Clerk: Mary Jean Milbrandt <br />Trustees: John L. Sullivan <br />Ingram C. Rustad <br />Legal Counsel: Richard Meyers <br />and the following members absent: <br />Mart to Irvine and Reuben G. Achterkirch <br />The meeting was opened at 8:00 P.M. by Mayor, James W. Gibson. <br />Herman Bentrup appeared with plans for improving home at 8158 Red Oak Drive. <br />Informed he should present plans to the building inspector to obtain a permit. <br />Burdrick Teslow, 7974 Fairchild appeared regarding odd sized lot on Fairchild <br />and Highway 10. Informed he could obtain building permit for a home on this lot: <br />Howard Nelson, 2204 Lois; George Peterson,2209 Lois; William L. Peterson, 2245 <br />Knoll; John W. Pittman, 2208 Lois; Mrs. Lawrence Freestone, 2237 Knoll; Mrs. Alfred <br />Blaine, 2250 Knoll; and Mrs. James Tabery, 2241 Knoll; appeared regarding problems <br />of Judicial Ditch #1. Informed that the council would check with the Engineer <br />regarding best way to proceed with this problem. <br />Motion by Sullivan, seconded by Rustad to accept minutes of June llth meeting. <br />Motion by Rustad, seconded by Sullivan to accept minutes of June 17th meeting. <br />Motion by Sullivan, seconded by Rustad to send birth and death records to <br />Clerk of District Court, Ramsey County. <br />Motion by Sullivan, seconded by Rustad to appoint Ralph Peterson, Alice Frits, <br />Jerry Christensen and Julie Lunde to Parks, Playgrounds and Public Buildings <br />Committee. <br />Motion by Rustad, seconded by Sullivan to adopt Ordinance #54. <br />Motion by Sullivan, seconded by Rustad to adjourn meeting at 11:30 P.M. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Mar Milbrandt <br />Deputy Clerk <br />
