32 <br />November 3, 1958 <br />A regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Mounds View was <br />called to order by Mayor Gibson at 8:20 P.M. on November 3, 1958, at the Village <br />Hall, 1450 West Highway 96. <br />The following members were present: <br />Mayor: James W. Gibson <br />Clerk: Martha Irvine <br />Trustees: John L. Sullivan <br />Reuben G. Achterkirch <br />Ingram C. Rustad <br />and the following were also present: <br />Deputy Clerk: Mary Jean Milbrandt <br />Legal Counsel: Richard Meyers <br />Treasurer: Irene Edberg <br />All bills were approved to be paid. <br />The minutes of the October 21st meeting were corrected to read "urge voters <br />to vote "Yes" on Amendment No. 1". Motion by Rustad, seconded by Achterkirch to <br />approve minutes as corrected. <br />Motion by Sullivan seconded by Rustad to approve minutes of October 29th meeting. <br />Motionby Achterkirch, seconded by Rustad to give permission to Mr. Bentrup to <br />proceed with home at 8158 Redoak Drive for which building permit has been issued. <br />After recommendation from the Planning Committee a platted lot will be surveyed and <br />recorded, in the meantime the Council gives special permission to waive requirement <br />of Ordinance #15, Section 5 Paragraph '9. 5 ayes. <br />Donald G. Erickson, 2261 Lois Drive requested permission to build within three <br />feet of the lot line. Motion by Rustad, seconded by Sullivan to give permission to <br />build within three feet of lot line if Mr. Erickson presents written consent of the <br />adjoining property owner to the building inspector when applying for a permit. Council <br />waives requirements under Ordinance #15, Section 5 Paragraph 12 and Section 9, Paragraph <br />2 of the Ramsey County Zoning Ordinance. 5 ayes. <br />Motion by Achterkirch, seconded by Sullivan to approve 50 foot road easement <br />with a 21 foot driving area double oiled and sealed for the property owned by Mr. <br />Dalberg and. Mr. Haluptzok, subject to posing of bond in sufficient amount to <br />cover cost of building road. 5 ayes. <br />Plat of "Haugen's Addition" referred to engineer and attorney. <br />Motion by Sullivan, seconded by Achterkirch to approve snow plowing and <br />sanding to be done by the County when requested by Trustee Rustad or Mayor Gibson. <br />5 ayes. <br />The following judges were approved for Precinct #1 for the November 4th election: <br />Ballot judge Iva Petron <br />Judges 7:00 A.M. Isabella Wille <br />Grace Aleckson <br />Clerks 4:00 P.M. or when necessary Phyllis Robertus <br />Bernice Ehlers <br />
