43 <br />Motion by Sullivan, seconded by Irvine to refer the 1st Draft of Subdivision <br />Regulations for Mounds View Village as set out by the Planning Committee to the <br />engineer for examination and recommendation. 4 ayes, Gibson no. <br />The Clerk reported that the base map, present land use map, and summary of <br />statistics had been complet4d. The Planning Committee will submit a complete <br />progress report at the end of the survey stage. <br />The Clerk read a resume of the proposed interim amendments to the zoning ordinance. <br />The Clerk reported that help had been obtained through the office of the <br />Governor in contacting the proper State Department for Roadside Park Development. <br />Mr. Harold Olsen, head of the Department, agreed to inspect the site at Highway 10 <br />and 8, and discuss possibilities with the Village Planning Consultant. <br />8. Storm sewer study committee: <br />Melford Christensen repotted that the Committee had not met but individual <br />members had done some checking themselves. He found that copies of blueprints of <br />work previously done in the Village by other engineers could be obtained, but that <br />no sort of storm sewer study has ever been done. <br />Trustee Achterkirch recommended that no Village funds be spent to obtain <br />blueprints without advice from the Village engineer concerning their value. <br />Trustee Rustad reported that he had learned from the Village Engineer that <br />all previous work would be rechecked and the cost of the study could probably not be <br />reduced. <br />Mrs. Irvine read letters expressing appreciation of the value of engineering <br />studies which they had made and recommending the work of Otto Bonestroo and Associates <br />from the Village of Newport and Spring Lake Park and the City of White Bear Lake. <br />Trustee Sullivan recommended that the Council talk to Mr. Bonestroo at the <br />January 6th meeting, and if there were no Objections that he . be instructed to <br />proceed with the study at that time. <br />9. Motion by Achterkirch, seconded by Sullivan to approve Resolution 714, <br />resolution CLASSIFYING CERTAIN LANDS. 5 ayes. <br />10. Motion by Irvine, seconded by Achterkirch to approve the form and intent of <br />the Curfew Ordinance as now drafted. This information to be presented to the <br />Ramsey County Municipal Officials Association. 5 ayes. <br />11. Motion by Sullivan, seconded by Irvine to refer application by Bill Richmond <br />Electric to inspector Edmond for recommendation. 5 ayes. <br />12. Police Officer to investigate Manson property on Groveland Rd. <br />13. Building Inspector to investigate unsanitary conditions in the home on NW <br />corner of Sherwood and Long Lake Rd. <br />14.
