113 <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to <br />order by Mayor James We Gibson at 8 :07 P.I. on October 20, at the Village <br />Hall, 1450 West Highway 96. <br />The following members were present: <br />Mayor: <br />Clerk: <br />Trustees: <br />Legal Councel: <br />Deputy Clerk: <br />Treasurer: <br />James W. Gibson <br />Earl E. Smith <br />Melford C. Christensen <br />Donald Hodges <br />Ferry Malvin <br />Richard Meyers <br />Betty Walbridge <br />Irene Edberg <br />The minutes of the meeting of September 1st, 1959 were read and the <br />following corrections made thereto: The request for a trailer sales at <br />the corner of County Road H2 and Highway 10 to be given to the Planning <br />Commission for a report at the next Council meeting on August 4, 1959. <br />In the fourth paragraph on the second page the word unanimously should <br />be stricken. Motion by Hodges, seconded by Malvin to approve the minutes <br />as corrected. Motion carried unanimously. <br />The minutes of the meeting of September 15th, 1959, were read and <br />the following corrections made thereto: in regards to the budget it <br />should be shown that $44,000 is the amount of money requested from tax <br />revenue and not the official total for the 1960 budget which is actually <br />$60,444.60. Motion by Christensen, seconded by Hodges to approve the <br />minutes as corrected. Motion carried unanimously. <br />The minutes of the Meeting of October 6th, 1959, were read and the <br />following corrections made thereto: in the last paragraph on Page 1, it <br />should read that Mr. Groberg conform to the building code,and regulations <br />of the State Health Department governing sanitary facilities for multiple <br />dwellings. Motion by Christensen, Seconded by Malvin to approve the <br />minutes as corrected. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Motion by Smith, seconded by Hodges to approve the sub - division of <br />Lot 76 Spring Lake Park Hillview Addition., Motion carried unanimously. <br />A Planning Commission and Council meeting designated,to be held <br />October 27, 1959. <br />Motion by Christensen, seconded by Malvin that Allan Crane be ap- <br />pointed to investigate and arrange a meeting with officials of the High - <br />ray Department and the Council together withomembers of the Planning <br />Commission to present the Village Thoroughfare plan to the Highway De- <br />partment Officials. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Motion by Christensen, seconded. by Malvin to issue a special use <br />permit for the service station on the corner of Spring Lake Park Road <br />and Highway 10 and Pleasant View Drive and Highway 10. .Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />
