.vi'. - 4,9 J, 4 61 <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />4'e-;/n, 1960 <br />Ut�tv:lFw� <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council 'ras <br />called to order at 7:30 P.M., April 11, 1960 at the Red Oak School, <br />Sherwood Road and Red Oak Drive, Minneapolis 21, Minnesota. <br />Present were: <br />Mayor: <br />Clerk: <br />Trustees: <br />Attorney: <br />Engineers: <br />Fiscal Agent: <br />Allan B. Crane <br />Earl E. Smith <br />Melford C. Christensen <br />Donald Hodges <br />Perry Malvin <br />Richard Meyers <br />C.V. Comstock <br />Lester Knutson <br />Ahlers and Mann <br />The minutes of the regular meeting of March 14, 1960 were <br />read and corrected to read as follows: The minutes of the regular <br />meeting February 1 and approved motion by Hodges seconded by Malvin <br />to approve the minutes as read; 5 ayes, motion carried. The minutes <br />of the special meeting held February 25th, 1960 add motion by Crane <br />seconded by Christensen for approval of the minutes; 5 ayes, motion <br />carried. <br />Motion by Malvin, seconded by Hodges to approve the minutes <br />as corrected. 5 ayes, motion carried. <br />Clerk Smith brought to the attention of the council that the <br />special that the special meeting of March 28, 1960 was not adjourned <br />upon its recess on that date due to further business concerning the <br />water which may be held by the council. Smith moved, Christensen <br />seconded to adjourn special meeting of March 28, 1960. 5 ayes, <br />motion carried. <br />The meeting was recessed at 8:06 P.M. in order to conduct the <br />hearing for the installation of municipal water in the village. <br />The regular meeting was again called to order at 8:43 P.M. and <br />the minutes shall show that there were no formal objections registered <br />at the water hearing. Motion by Hodges, seconded by Malvin to adopt <br />the resolution on Waterworks Improvement #1960 -2. 5 ayes, motion <br />carried. <br />Milton Stole, Chairman of the Planning Commission, reported on <br />a meeting held by that Commission on Tuesday, March 29. Mr. Stole <br />stated that the commission has received a request for construction <br />on County Road I at the junction of Adams Street by Mr. Groberg; <br />a request for the building of a service station on property owned <br />by Mrs. Bacon near Highway #10; and a request from Mr. Goorge <br />Peterson by Mr. Lee Hetrick concerning the building of a trailer <br />service and sales unit on Highway #8. He stated that the above <br />requests would be considered at the next meeting by the commission <br />
