Christensen <br />and Smith, No; Hodges, Crane and Malvin, aye; motion carried.. <br />At this point Mr. Malvin interjected the thought that m long <br />as liquor had been voted into Mounds View Village and that <br />applications have been received it is the duty of all of us to <br />vote for these applications favorably and that none of the council <br />should deny a right to any of the applicants. No remarks were <br />forthcoming from Smith or Christensen and the business of process- <br />ing the applications proceeded4 <br />Application by Mr. Anthony Donetelle of the Irondale Inn <br />for both off and on sale liquor licenses. Motion by Malvin, se- <br />conded by Hodges, to issue said licenses to said applicant. <br />Hodges, Malvin and Crane, aye; Smith and Christensen; no; motion <br />carried. <br />Application by Walter Lazarz of the Meadowbrook Inn for both <br />off and on sale liquor licenses. Motion by Crane, seconded by <br />Hodges to issue said licenses to said applicant. Malvin, Hodges, <br />Crane, aye; Christensen and Smith, no; motion carried. <br />Application by Mr. Simon T. Simon for off sale liquor license. <br />Motion by Malvin, seconded by Hodges for issuance o€ said license <br />to applicant. Hodges, Malvin, Crane, aye; Christensen and Smith <br />no, Motion carried. <br />Application by Mr. and Mrs. Alvin and Ebba Jansen for for <br />on and off sale liquor licenses. Mayor Crane informed Mr. Jansen <br />that in accordance with the ordinance all of the offi sale licenses <br />had been issued and therefore no action could be taken on that <br />application. Mr. Crane then moved, seconded by Hodges not to take <br />action at this time on the application for on sale license due <br />to the reason that applicant's do not have x specified premises <br />5 ayes, motion carried. <br />Mr. Jansen stated that he is in the process of selling much of <br />his property for business construction and that was the reason <br />he applied for a liquor license in order to hold a license open <br />for on sale liquor. The council agreed to meet with Mr. Jansen <br />on iursday night, June 30th to discuss the plans for his property <br />xxx of the Skyline Motel. <br />Attorney Meyers gave a report on and read the ordinance es- <br />tablishing a certificate of Occupancy. This matter tabled until <br />next meeting for study by the council. <br />Clerk Smith read a letter from an Attorney for Mr. on Voge, <br />concerning the annexing of his property lying in Mounds View <br />village to the village of Blaine. Mr. Meyers instructed to pre- <br />pare a letter to Mr. Voges Attorney denying the annexing of his <br />land in Mounds View and stating that the village would be glad <br />to accept a proposal from him to annex his property on which the <br />Race Track is located back to the village of Mounds View from <br />which it was wnce annexed. <br />
