PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br />MINNESOTA. <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village council was called to <br />order by Mayor Allan B. Crane at S :03 P. M., Monday, July 11, 1960, at <br />the Red Oak School, Red Oak Drive and Sherewood Road. <br />Present Were: <br />Mayor Allan B. Crane <br />Clerk Earl E. Smith <br />Trustee Melford C. Christensen <br />Donald C. Hodges <br />Perry Malvin <br />Attorney Richard G. Meyers <br />Engineer Lester Knutson <br />Treasurer Irene Edberg <br />A petition was presented to the council by James W. Gibson petitioning <br />the council to hold a hearing on the extension of water mains in the West <br />1/2 of Section 7 of the village. Motion by Malvin Seconded by Hodges to <br />accept the petition for referral to the Village Engineer and for a report <br />at the next meeting. 5 ayes, motion carried. <br />The minutes of the May 2nd meeting was read by Clerk Smith. Motion <br />by Bodge seconded by Crane to accept the May 2nd minutes as read, 5 ayes <br />motion carried. <br />The minutes of the May 9th Meeting was read by Clerk Smith, Motion by <br />camas, soconded by Malvin to accept the minutes as read subject to a ooz+- <br />rection of the name Mr. Larry Grover on Page 2, 4th paragraph to Mr. Larry <br />Brogger. 5 ayes, motion carried. <br />Motion by Christensen, seconded by Hodges to accept the minutes of <br />May 23rd without reading as the council has had time to to study the minutes. <br />An addition was given to the minutes by Clerk Smith that the recreation <br />Committee had suspended their operations on May 23rd due to the fact that <br />there were descrepancies between the Clerk's records and the Recreation <br />Committee ;s records and the fact that the recreation ordinance had not beet <br />given approval by the council. Christensen also added a change on page <br />3 concerning the size of the water line which should read an 18 inch line <br />instead of g inch line. Upon call of roll the motion, addition and change <br />in the minutes received 5 ayes for approval, motion carried. <br />Clerk Smith read the minutes of the meeting of May 25th, 1960. Correc- <br />tion made changing the day of the meeting from Monday to Wednesday. Motion <br />by Christensen seconded by Hodges to approve the minutes of May 25th as <br />corrected. 5 ayes, motion carried. <br />
