A <br />After a discussion cncerning the type of petitions required <br />by the council for further extension of the hearing, motion by <br />Christensen seconded by Malvin that petitions be received in the <br />village office up to and including Friday, August 26th, 1960 until <br />3 :00 P. M., said petitions to be investigated by the council p-9 . <br />a decision made at a meeting on September 29th, 1960. 5 aye ,,, <br />ti on carried. <br />Mr. Eickstead, chairman of the Police Commission, presented <br />the police report to the cancil and recommended that a petition <br />received by the Commission for a street light to In placed on the <br />corner of Bronson Drive and Spring Lake Park Road be approved. <br />Motion by Malvin, seconded by Hodges that petition for street <br />light on corner of Bronson Drive and Spring Lake Park Road be <br />approved. 5 ayes, motion carried, <br />Mayor 'Crane brought to the attention of the council that an <br />Industrial Committee had been formed and moved that the following <br />citizens be approved as members of that committee: <br />Mr, Ernie Gustafson <br />Mr, Adrian Brube <br />Mr. Stuart Rothgerber <br />Mr. Arthur McClure <br />Mr, Glen Westerheim <br />Mr. William R. Anderson, Jr. <br />Mr.' Robert Kroonblawd <br />Mr. Simonson <br />MrS.Carnes <br />Mr. Waste <br />Mr. Byron Anderson. <br />The motion was seconded by Mr Malvin and upon call of roll all <br />members voted aye. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Gustofson then presented a request for $100.00 to be spent bar <br />Industrial Committee at a convention for such co mmit to s, say <br />to be used for travel and meals.
