Uj 082 <br />Proceedings of the Village Council Page 2 <br />r. Lind appeared before the Council requesting subdivision of <br />Lot No. 73, Spring Lake Park Hillview Addition into two lots- -110 ft. <br />wide and 132 ft. wide. Upon ;uestioninG;,4 Mi. Lind, the Council <br />was informed that 1r. Dahlmeier was the true owner of the property <br />concerned and that Mr. Lind could not legally make application for <br />the subdivision of said land. Pr. Crane therefore suggested that <br />Mr. Lin.: take no action on this until formal application for sub- <br />division by ; -;r. :.,.7.hlreier has been made in the Village Clerk's office. <br />Mr. Glenn . ,4awson, . Mice Co omission member, read the monthly <br />olice report, *,thich is on file in the Clerk's office and also submitted <br />the following recommendations to the Council: (1) tocommendation <br />to call for bids for a new 1961 police car - -said bids to be submitted <br />ata :d without a trade -in; (2) aucommendation that the Council <br />submit an ad in the legal newspaper and such other newspapers as <br />may be desired, notifyin, those interested that applications will <br />be '; *':en to fill the position of patrolman in i- ounds View Village. <br />Mayor Crane instructed the attorney to i.repare the bids for a <br />olice car and suggested that the closing date be delayed until all <br />1,61 models are on the market. i•xM °yor Crone also announced that an <br />..dvertisenent for police applicants was inserted in the previous <br />week's newspaper. zie a.lso stated that said applications would be <br />'tept on file until such time as it is necessary to hire a patrolman. <br />`.ttrr_ey Meyers 1,resented the water assessment resolution to <br />the Council for approval. its presentation the Council dis- <br />cussed the possibility of mathematical errors *hich may be present <br />the assessment roll. P::tian by ,.;'*dges, seconded by Malvin to <br />accept an itemization of corrections which may be due to mathemati- <br />ce.1 error. 4 -ayes for approval, Notion carried. Notion then jnade <br />by Mayor Crane, seconded by Christenson to adopt the water assessment <br />resolution subject to ;•ossible corrections in the aforementioned <br />motion :.above. 4 eyes for approval, motion carried. <br />T%e I.$ .pector appeared before the council and reported <br />t;.at he had received a request from a resident at 7225 Xnollwood <br />Drive to retain the present garage now located on the premises until, <br />next spring after the erection of a new double garage. Motion by <br />scc .> .ded by Ir..)dges to issue a building; permit to resident at <br />said address on condition that the present ;garage be removed from <br />that site by Kay 1, 1961. 4 .:.yes, motion carried. <br />
