Minutes of the Meeting of October 10, 1960 (Page 5) <br />C '0699 <br />Mr. Duane Meckola questioned the council as to whether or <br />not he would have to pay the assessment on that portion of <br />the lot that he plans to subdivide and sell. Mayor Crane ad- <br />vised Mr. Meckola that the assessment would stay xf with the <br />land and that would be of concern to him only. Mayor Crane also <br />stated that the council and the Engineer's office would determine <br />the assessment for each lots <br />Mayor Crane announced that -Caere would be an official hearing <br />by the council for information purposes only concerning the <br />sewer question, said hearing to be held at t"'ie Edgewood Junior <br />High School 300051XX Monday, October 17, 1960. <br />Mr. Meyers presented to the council a resolution concerning <br />tax deliquent land which had been adopted by the village and <br />to be signed by the officials and one copy be forwarded to the <br />Ramsey County Land Commissioner) <br />Mr. Meyers, Village attorney, also presented an Ordinance to <br />the council amending Ordinance # 74 concerning the adoption of <br />"3/4" I,D, copper tubing, type K" for use from the service <br />connection to family dwellings in the village, Motion by Crane <br />seconded by Malvin to adopt the amendment to Ordinance <br />4 ayes, motion carried.. <br />The village Attorney also presented a proposed resolution <br />granting permission to the Northern States Power Company to <br />furnish gas in the village of Mounds View, The council concurred <br />that said resolution should be studied by the members of the <br />council and acted on at a future meeting. <br />The village attorney also presented a resolution to the council <br />establishin„ the specifications covering basement meters and <br />the setting of such with a double valve yoke. The a% council <br />also referred this to study and action at a future meeting. <br />The council discussed the situation concerning Mr. 'Tallace <br />Groberg's property on Bronson Drive. Trustee Christensen then <br />submitted a proposal to the village attorney covering a list <br />of requirements for Mr, Groberg which Mr. Meyers is to present <br />to Mrs Groberg and his attorney. In this proposal it was stated <br />that the village council was willing to issued permits on the <br />houses along Bronson Drive with the understanding that Mr. Groberg <br />deed the back part of the lots north of a line 160 feet <br />back from the rights/of� way with the idea of leaving an easement <br />of not less than 20 feet and that he pay a sum of $1250,00 cash <br />for his portion of the storm sewer cost plus the the drainage <br />line from the area in the rear of the houses. Mr. Groberg is <br />to also rough grade the part of the lots in the rear from which <br />he removed the dirt.• <br />
