PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIE`T <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br />I"MINNESOTA <br />Pursuand to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of <br />the Village Council was called to order at 8 :02 P.E. on Tuesday, <br />October 18, 1960 at the Village Office, 5499 Adams St., New Brighton, <br />12, Minnesota. <br />Members present: <br />Mayor <br />Clerk <br />Trustee <br />Fiscal Agent <br />Engineer <br />Members Absent: <br />Trustee <br />Allan 3. Crane <br />Earl E. Smith <br />Donald C. Hodges <br />Robert Ehlers <br />C. V. Comstock <br />Melford C. Christenson <br />Perry Malvin <br />Mayor Crane opened the meeting and announced that a quorum of <br />three members was present and called for bids on the sale of bonds <br />for Tater Torks Improvement iro jects 1960 -2, 1960 -3 and additional <br />expense incurred under Project No. 1960 -1, in the amount of <br />1585,000.00. Mayor Crane then called for bids a second time and <br />thereupon announced that the bids were closed. <br />Er. Ehlers, the Fiscal Agent for the Village, opened the bids <br />and announced the contents of each bid as follows: <br />Bid ITo. 1 - Allison Tilliaas Co. <br />Bid containing a net interest cost of <br />1244,157.50 and net interest rate of 4.3415. <br />Bid No. 2 - Barcus Kindred & Co. <br />Net interest cost of 1253,195.00 with a net <br />interest rate of 4.50220. <br />Third & Last aid - John Nuveen and Company <br />Net interest cost of 1244,621.25 and a net <br />interest rate of 4.3498;x. <br />Er. Ehlers, the Fiscal Agent, then computed the figures con - <br />tained in each bid to determine the accuracy and completeness of <br />the bids and declared the results to the Council. From these com- <br />putations Mayor Crane announced that the firm of Allison 7illiams <br />Company had placed the lowest bid for the sale of the aforementioned <br />bonds. <br />
